Contents: Naproxen Na
Indications: Management of mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, backache) & primary dysmenorrhea; for the symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendonitis, bursitis, acute gout.
Contraindications: History of stroke, cerebrovascular accident, heart attack, myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass graft, uncontrolled hypertension, congestive heart failure. Aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs-induced asthma, urticaria, rhinitis or allergic reactions. Previous or active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. Patients w/ advance renal disease. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Drug Reactions: Heartburn, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, stomatitis, flatulence, gross bleeding/perforation, gastric/duodenal ulcer, vomiting, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness, vertigo, pruritus, skin eruptions, ecchymoses, sweating, purpura, tinnitus, visual & hearing disturbances, edema, palpitations, dyspnea, thirst, abdominal renal function, anemia, elevated liver enzyme levels, increased bleeding time & rashes.
