Contents: Gemfibrozil
Indications: Treatment of hyperlipidemia & to reduce risk of coronary heart disease & myocardial infarction.
Contraindications: Hepatic or severe renal dysfunction; preexisting gallbladder disease.
Administration: Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take ½ hr before meals.
Adverse Drug Reactions: Abdominal & epigastric pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, flatulence; headache, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, skin rash, pruritus, alopecia, anemia, leukopenia.
