Contents: Methylphenidate HCl
Indications: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity. Marked anxiety; tension & agitation; glaucoma; family history or diagnosis of Tourette's syndrome. Treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors or within a minimum of 14 days following discontinuation of a monoamine oxidase inhibitor. Children below 6 yrs. old.
Administration: May be taken with or without food: Swallow whole, do not divide/chew/crush.
Adverse Drug Reactions: Headache, stomachache, loss of appetite & insomnia. Aggravation reaction, asthenia, hypertension, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, weight loss, twitching (tics), dizziness, emotional lability, somnolence, anxiety, depression, nervousness, hostility & rash.
