Contents: Diphenhydramine HCl
Indications: Perennial & seasonal allergic rhinitis; vasomotor rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis due to inhalant allergens & foods; amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma, dermatographism; adjunct to epinephrine for anaphylactic reactions after acute manifestations have been controlled. Motion sickness & parkinsonism.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to diphenhydramine HCl or other similar antihistamines. Asthma attack. Concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors. Premature & newborn infants. Lactation.
Administration: May be taken with or without food.
Adverse Drug Reactions: cardiovascular, central nervous system, GU & respiratory effects. Blood disorders. gastrointestinal disturbances. Antimuscarinic effects. Allergic reactions.
